Clean Up Australia Day is a yearly initiative that inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment. Portavin has been at the forefront by participating every year and ensuring the premises and surroundings or our sites are kept clean.
On Monday, March 22nd, the team at WA rolled up their sleeves and cleaned up the premises. The event was organised by Portavin’s Jasmin Anderson and participation was seen from all quarters with the production and admin staff setting aside some time to contribute. The team picked out the rubbish from around the exterior of the site and the verges. The total efforts resulted in collecting around 6 kgs of rubbish. These were then sorted out so that those that could be recycled could be sent out. The rest of the pile were put in the general waste skip.
